**Job Title: HVAC Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer based in Jackson, MS. This role involves operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment across multiple locations. The engineer will demonstrate technical expertise primarily in HVAC, while being multi-skilled in other areas such as Electrical, Piping/Plumbing, and Central Utility Plant Operations. **Responsibilities** + Travel between multiple facilities to ensure proper function within a 3.5 to 4 hour radius in the Tupelo MS to Memphis MS area. + Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical proficiency. + Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimal performance levels. + Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment. + Comply with departmental policy for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials, maintaining a clean and safe workplace. + Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory. + Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors. + Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas, recognizing danger and safety hazards, and proposing methods to eliminate them. **Essential Skills** + 5-7 years of HVAC experience required. + Experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems. + Ability to analyze the operation of various Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action. + Universal Type III Certification. + EPA 608 Universal Certification. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or Equivalent. + Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel. + Valid driver's license. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
