Summary:

Assist in the maintenance of the hospital and associated grounds to maintain the upkeep, operations and appearance of. Able to install new AC unit and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities:

Record and report work assignments to the HVAC/R Technician Supervisor.Good communications skills.Team-working with other Engineering staff to solve problems and assist all members in completing assigned tasks.Problem SolverOther duties as assignedOperate and maintain various mechanical equipment including air handling equipment, air conditioners, refrigeration, compressors and water coolers.Perform regular, scheduled inspection of equipment to observe and report operating conditions.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and document activities with appropriate records.Monitor and inspect the installation of mechanical equipment by outside contractors.Report inventory usage and needs to supervisor.Computer skills.Must be able to perform scheduled tasks on "off" shifts.Maintain all mechanical rooms clean, orderly and safe.Attend all mandatory hospital and departmental education programs. Attend scheduled Engineering training programs.
