Job Title: HVAC/R Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced refrigeration technician to join our installation and repair team. As a refrigeration technician, you will be responsible for processing and completing work orders on HVAC equipment, installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You may also be required to advise on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling units.

Responsibilities

Process and complete work orders efficiently.Install new refrigeration systems with precision.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures effectively.Perform regular maintenance on refrigeration systems, equipment, and components.Advise on equipment upgrades and alternative cooling units as needed.Work on ice machines, freezers, and computer room air conditioners (CRAC).

Essential Skills

Knowledge of refrigeration theory, techniques, codes, procedures, and materials.Understanding of safety rules, procedures, and practices, including OSHA standards.Ability to apply refrigeration and safety knowledge in practice.Proficient use of tools and equipment relevant to the field.Problem-solving skills and ability to manage information effectively.Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.Journeyman certification in HVAC or related field.Experience in commercial building settings.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, from 7am-3:30pm AND 3pm-11:30pm are available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.64 - $37.32/hr.
