Inspect, report malfunctions, and make repairs to HVAC equipment and related systems.

Education:

HS/GED preferred.  Technical training in preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems.

 

Experience:

Five years experience or comparable combination of education and experience in HVAC maintenance.

 

Additional Skills/Abilities:

 

Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment with assorted hand and power tools.Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams, with a basic understanding of blueprints.Ability to reason and troubleshoot problems in a logical, systematic manner.Ability to maintain and complete written records, logs, requisitions and work orders.Posses a basic understanding of applicable codes and ordinances.Knowledge of general safety rules.Knowledge of emergency response procedures.Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
