Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our HVAC Mechanic, you will perform a wide range of tasks, including the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex HVAC-R equipment and controls. You will ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes, as well as industry best practices.
Every day you will conduct preventative maintenance inspections, diagnose system malfunctions, and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime. You will utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals effectively, accurately documenting all service and inspection activities.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong technical expertise in HVAC-R systems, a valid EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification, and a solid understanding of building automation systems. You will work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.

Education/Work Experience Requirements
Successful completion of a recognized HVAC-R technical/apprenticeship training program and four years of related HVAC-R work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities. Work experience in a large industrial or healthcare facility is preferred.
Licensure/Certification
EPA Section 608 (Clean Air Act) Technician Certification. Certified to use FreonPreferred
