Hvac Mechanic
**Job Title: HVAC Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician to support industrial and commercial installations across Delaware. This role involves hands-on work with HVAC systems, ensuring quality, code compliance, and efficient start-up support. **Responsibilities** + Install and service RTUs, air handlers, VAVs, duct systems, and terminations. + Perform brazing/soldering, set up line sets, and handle evacuation and charging basics. + Assist with start-up support for new systems. + Read and interpret prints and schematics; ensure compliance with HVAC codes. **Essential Skills** + Journeyman License in Delaware or 7+ years of verifiable HVAC trade experience. + Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and installation practices. + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Refrigeration experience, including chillers and VRF systems. + Familiarity with water source heat pumps. + EPA certification strongly preferred. + OSHA-10 certification preferred. + Reliable transportation and basic tools required. **Why Work Here?** Join an excellent organization with a good leadership team, working on premier projects throughout the state of Delaware. **Work Environment** Work on industrial and commercial job sites, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts with potential overtime on weekends. Engage in commercial/industrial new construction and renovation projects. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
