NICE TO HAVE + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. + Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit is a plus. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects, including new installations, retrofits, and maintenance contracts. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents. Responsibilities + Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed HVAC estimates. + Perform site visits when necessary to gather information and assess project scope. + Calculate labor, material, and equipment costs using industry-standard estimating software. + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive bids. + Prepare and submit bid proposals in a timely manner. + Track and analyze project costs and provide feedback for future estimates. + Maintain a database of historical costs and vendor pricing. + Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations. Work Environment This position operates during standard business hours of 8am-5pm. The candidate is highly preferred to be local to Logan, Utah, but remote work within the state is possible based on experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
