Our aim isn’t just about improving buildings; it’s about creating perfect places that improve people’s lives.   **Transform the everyday with us!** Our **Systems Specialists** participate in the installation, startup, and commissioning of building automation system equipment that has been newly installed and supports the verification of the system database and programming, ensuring consistency with the scope of work and sequence of operations. Our Systems Specialists are the face of Siemens, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help them save energy and money, as well as create a more sustainable future for our environment. **As a Systems Specialist, you will:**    + Commissionnew distributed digital control systems on construction sites withinplanned timelines. Documents commissioningdetails; communicates deficiencies and progress + Planwork with Lead Technician, and Team Leader + Networktechnologies: Assists with data back-up from data servers and the creationof automated back-up procedures. Supports troubleshooting and resolutionof inconsistencies in the functions or sequence ofoperations. Assists with the set-up and configuration of PCworkstations and user interfaces + Supportthe confirmation of proper network performance + Operationaltesting, verification, and acceptance: Runs routine reports to reviewsystem operation. Participates in final inspection and testing. Supportscustomer acceptance. Assists with customertraining on system operations + Completeand submit routine written reports. Provides plans andcontrol system documents to engineering for as-built drawings + Projectsite communication and coordination: May support others in the schedulingof trade contractors to coordinate startup services.Submits accurate time and expense reports + Work overtimewhen needed (Compressed schedule performance can be a factor and willrequire extended hours to meet commitments) + Workrotational on-call and/or minimal overnight travel + Adhere tolocal, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures. Ability towork in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers **You will make an impact with these qualifications:**   _Basic Qualifications:_ _  _ + 1+years of experience installing and servicing electronic controlor HVAC equipment + Electro-mechanical experience (either in aprevious role or through education) and user PC/softwareskill + On-the-jobexperience reading, understanding, and interpreting design andconstruction documents + Ability andwillingness to work in a variety of circumstances including climbingladders, scaffolds, and high lift equipment, working in ducts,crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and invarious conditions + Mustbe able and willing to use hand tools, laptop, email,smartphone, and tablet as well as carrying and moving equipmentand tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted + Experiencewith Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) + Ability andwillingness to work overtime as needed + Mustbe 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license withlimited violations; must meet eligibility requirementsto participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program + Legallyauthorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basiswithout company sponsorship _Preferred Qualifications:_ + Highschool diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate orBachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, orrelated + 1+years of experience installing and servicing electronic controlor HVAC equipment   **Ready to create your own journey?**  Join us today! **About Siemens** We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
