We are seeking a skilled HVAC and Plumbing Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design of mechanical systems for diverse building types, including commercial, industrial, and military projects. We request solid practical experience to take ownership of defined portions of larger engineering projects. The role involves collecting and analyzing technical data, performing calculations and routine tests, and developing solutions by adapting established methods. The engineer will work with minimal supervision, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget, while also guiding junior colleagues. This position requires proven professional experience and the ability to independently deliver core design elements within engineering assignments.

Job Description

Here is what you will do:

Carry out specific and moderately complex portions of broader engineering assignments delegated by senior engineers.Gather, validate and correlate engineering data following established procedures and standards.Perform detailed and routine engineering tasks, including calculations, modelling, and simple testing activities.Develop technical approaches for new problems by adjusting standard procedures or using methods applied in previous assignments.Identify inconsistencies or discrepancies in engineering results and propose corrective actions.Independently execute all tasks necessary to deliver primary engineering design elements.Produce project deliverables-models, drawings, documentation—for review by senior engineers.Support and guide entry-level or junior engineers as needed.Ensure all work is completed within the agreed budget, timeline, and quality requirements.Participate in internal reviews and contribute to maintaining accurate project documentation.Support proposal development and preparation of technical inputs for bids.Engage with clients to gather information and clarify project requirements, as your experience grows.

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in building services engineering.Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in HVAC and plumbing design.Solid understanding of engineering principles, standards, and industry practices.Ability to independently perform engineering calculations and interpret technical data.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Ability to work with limited supervision while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred:

Experience with Revit MEP.Familiarity with Common Data Environment platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC).Experience with clash detection software.Professional certification or license in progress or obtainedActive participation in professional or industry organizations.Experience coordinating tasks or providing guidance to junior engineers.Strong analytical mindset and ability to solve non-standard engineering problems.Familiarity with international design codes and cross-functional workflows.Ability to propose improvements to workflows, methods, or processes.Experience interacting with clients and external partners.
