Hyatt Regency Frisco is conveniently located 25 minutes north of Dallas with 303 guestrooms and 27,500 square feet of event space. The 18-story hotel is situated in the heart of Frisco, TX at the Stonebriar Centre—just steps from Dr. Pepper Stadium, FC Dallas / Toyota Stadium, Frisco Discovery Center, and a variety of entertainment and dining options.
**The Role of Human Resources**

**Position Overview: Human Resources Specialist**
The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in managing the daily operations and priorities of the HR office. This highly visible position partners closely with the HR Director and hotel leadership at all levels. You will be a trusted advisor and business partner—championing a culture of care.
With the support of the HR Director, this position will oversee HR operations while modeling Hyatt’s leadership behaviors: creating authentic connections, fostering inclusion, prioritizing wellbeing, and guiding change with compassion and courage.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Lead with Empathy in Talent Management**
+ Facilitate onboarding and orientation experiences that make new colleagues feel welcomed and valued.
+ Track training plans and compliance to support colleague development and growth.
+ Manage I-9 documentation and new hire paperwork with accuracy and care.
**Ensure Excellence in HR Operations**
+ Oversee HRIS updates, status changes, and payroll processing with integrity.
+ Maintain compliance with My Learning platforms.
+ Support and process tuition reimbursement, referral bonuses, and hiring incentives.
**Champion Colleague Experience & Engagement**
+ Coordinate monthly and quarterly recognition events, milestone anniversaries, and personalized celebrations.
+ Lead initiatives for holidays, life events, and farewell receptions.
+ Track and manage on-the-spot recognition programs and gifts.
**Support Financial & Administrative Excellence**
+ Assist with payroll adjustments as needed
+ Audit daily room reservations
+ Maintain Birchstreet and ensure accurate tracking for payroll-related items.
+ Manager internal system updates and supply inventory management

**Qualifications:**
+ Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred; excellent communicationBilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred; excellent communication skills required – Strengthens Hyatt’s commitment to inclusion and authentic connection across cultures.
+ Human Resources generalist experience preferred
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Kronos, ADP, HCM, Taleo or similar systems preferred - Ensures HR processes are executed with care, accuracy and efficiency.
+ Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and emerging HR trends preferred - maintains compliance while adapting to evolving workplace expectations.
+ Highly organized with critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Anticipates needs and addresses challenges thoughtfully, prioritizing colleague wellbeing.
+ Professional presence with the ability to delivery clear, impactful messages - inspires confidence through empathy, approachability, and authenticity.
