Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in supporting operations by managing employee relations, assisting with payroll through ADP, and ensuring HR compliance.

ResponsibilitiesServe as on-site HR support for employees and leadership.Build reports using Excel, including Pi-charts and VLOOKUPs.Assist with payroll and create work instructions.Handle employee relations issues, providing coaching and conducting investigations.Assist with onboarding, terminations, and policy administration.Partner with supervisors to support attendance, performance, and engagement.Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.Drive HR initiatives related to retention, culture, and communication.Perform other duties as needed.Essential Skills2+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.Proficiency in data entry, onboarding, and recruiting.Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for creating reports.Experience with HR systems and payroll, such as ADP and Paycor.Excellent employee relations and problem-solving skills.Strong organization, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with HRIS systems.Analytical skills and ability to identify trends proactively.PowerPoint skills are a plus.Work Environment

The work environment is a combination of manufacturing, warehouse, and office settings. The role requires occasional weekend work and offers flexible shifts: Monday through Friday, with options of 6-3 PM, 7-4 PM, 10-6 PM, or 11-7 PM. The environment is fast-paced, providing a stable and team-oriented atmosphere with opportunities for career growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
