Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities What to Expect Direct responsibility may include any combination of the following Human Resources areas: employee relations, employee development, labor relations, employee benefits, and background checks. Provides expertise, guidance, consultation, and support on a wide variety of Human Resources issues to management officials, supervisors, and employees. Disseminates factual information on which recommendations, decisions or other actions can be based; explains the basis for recommendations and actions. Assist in preparing Human Resources directives, special reports, and correspondence. Ensures that internal management control programs over Human Resources operations are in compliance with all current and applicable regulations. Conduct audits and formulate practical plans to address Human Resources matters. This position may be designated as a non-critical sensitive position; therefore, must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Tier 3, Secret Clearance level background check. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND four years of knowledge and experience in any combination or all of the following Human Resources functional areas: employee relations, employee development, labor relations, employee benefits, OR an appropriate combination of education and substantial Human Resources experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR substantial Human Resources experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of NAF Human Resources policies and procedures preferred.
