Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Responsible for Human Resources commodity management including strategy development, supplier selection, and negotiation of rates. + Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. + Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. + Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement. + Manage claims. + Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc., this may also include purchasing activities. + Expected to participate and or lead Lean process improvement projects using Flight Deck tools. + May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. + Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. + May guide others to consider a different point of view. **Required Qualifications** + A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years Indirect Sourcing & Commodity Management experience NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience. **Desired Characteristics** + 7 plus years’ experience in indirect sourcing. + Human Resources commodity experience. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. + Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. + Established project management skills. The base pay range for this position is 126,700.00 - 169,100.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan.
