Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Certificated Human Resources, the Human Resources Representative, Planning & Recruitment coordinates, monitors, and provides technical support for certificated recruitment planning and selection processes. The position organizes recruitment activities, supports application screening and interviewing, contributes to staffing projections, and provides technical and administrative support to certificated human resources functions. The role also provides technical support for collective bargaining data needs and assists with a variety of departmental processes requiring confidentiality, accuracy, and knowledge of HR systems, procedures, and Education Code.
Requirements / QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) AND Four years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including at least two years performing technical functions such as recruitment, staffing analysis, HRIS data management, or budget support OR Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or related field AND Three years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including at least one year performing technical functions such as recruitment, staffing analysis, HRIS data management, or budget support OR Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or related field AND Two years of human resources experience involving recruitment, staffing analysis, HRIS data management, or budget support Desirable Qualifications: •Experience in a K-12 public education environment •Experience with certificated/credentialed personnel recruitment and placement •Knowledge of California Education Code provisions affecting certificated personnel •Experience with position control systems and staffing projection Licenses & Certificates May require a valid California Driver’s License.

Comments and Other Information PURPOSE To establish a list of eligible candidates that will be used to fill an anticipated vacancy for the duration of the list, up to one year. The anticipated vacancy is a 12 month, full-time (8 hours/day) position located with the Department of Certificated Personnel (Teaching), at the District Office in Simi Valley.
