Horton, Inc.**is currently looking for a*_Human Resources Manager - Marketing Technology_*. The right candidatewill lead routine Human Resource functions for the corporate Marketing Technology department in conjunction with Corporate Human Resources. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Partner with Marketing Technology leadership and Corporate Human Resources to understand and execute the department’s talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting and retention * Manage the talent acquisition process in conjunction with the D.R. Horton Careers team which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings * Provide support to management and other staff when employee related questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing guidance, proposing solutions, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations * Ensure managers are aware of and compliant in exercising company policies relating to management responsibilities * Verify all Human Resources policies are followed * Continue and establish practices that encourage a culture where dedicated and driven employees are celebrated, supported, and given opportunities for advancement * Analyze workforce data and trends (turnover, engagement, performance) to provide insights and recommendations that improve employee experience and business outcomes. * Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company *Supervisory Responsibilities* * May have supervisory responsibilities **Education and/or Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field * 5 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or HR Manager roles * Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate * Ability to act with integrity and professionalism in all situations * Strong computer skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs/systems quickly is essential * Knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and workforce management principles in a multi-state and distributed workforce environment * Strong interpersonal and consulting skills with the ability to influence leaders and navigate complex employee matters **Preferred Qualifications** * PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred Come join a winning team with a Fortune 500 company!
