About the Role

The Human Resources Manager contributes to the smooth and efficient running of the Human Resources function, ensuring that all colleague-related processes are managed in accordance with Hyatt’s purpose, values, policies and local labor legislation. This role supports the hotel in attracting, developing and retaining talent while promoting colleague wellbeing and a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports the efficient operation of the Human Resources Department in line with company, hotel and local policies and procedures.
• Ensures that all colleague records, personnel files and HR documentation are accurately maintained and kept up to date.
• Ensures compliance with local labor legislation, company policies and hotel procedures.
• Supports recruitment and selection activities in cooperation with Department Heads.
• Coordinates onboarding activities and supports the delivery of “Welcome to Hyatt” and other HR-related trainings.
• Supports colleague relations by providing guidance on employment matters, workplace issues, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Ensures that all colleagues are treated fairly and consistently in accordance with their terms and conditions of employment, local legislation and hotel policies.
• Administers colleague benefits, leave records, medical leave, business trips, internal transfers and other HR processes.
• Supports the administration of performance development discussions, succession planning and colleague development activities.
• Works closely with Department Heads to support effective staffing levels, productivity and payroll administration.
• Prepares and monitors HR reports, including turnover, sick leave, vacation and other relevant colleague-related reports.
• Supports compensation and benefits surveys, business planning and manning guide preparation.
• Coordinates colleague communication and ensures that hotel rules, policies and procedures are clearly communicated and implemented.
• Manages and supports colleague welfare initiatives, including colleague facilities, colleague restaurant committee meetings and employee housing where applicable.
• Maintains strong professional relationships with labor offices, labor-law specialists and other relevant external partners.
• Coordinates visas, work permits and immigration-related administration for foreign national colleagues where required.
• Supports the implementation of Hyatt’s People Philosophy across all departments.
• Promotes a positive working environment by taking an active interest in colleague wellbeing, safety and development.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety requirements and supports the correct implementation of work safety regulations.
• Attends departmental communication meetings, trainings and other meetings as required.
• Maintains professional relationships with competitor hotels, business partners and other relevant organizations.
• Responds to changes in the Human Resources function as required by the industry, company and hotel.
• Adheres to the hotel’s rules and regulations, including policies relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

· Experience in Human Resources within hospitality or a service-oriented environment
