We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to serve as a strategic partner. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-shift operation and enjoys being a visible, trusted presence both on the floor and in the office.
You will play a key role in supporting employee relations, guiding leadership, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements and customer-specific standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a strategic HR partner to site leadership, especially the General ManagerManage employee relations with consistency, fairness, and empathyServe as a trusted coach and advisor to supervisors and managersSupport and reinforce health and safety policies and initiativesMonitor and ensure accurate employee timekeeping and attendance compliancePartner with payroll by providing accurate timekeeping-related informationAssist with onboarding, including system setup and employee integrationSupport and track training programs, ensuring compliance and documentationParticipate in interviews and help address staffing needs and gapsCommunicate workforce planning needs across shifts to leadershipCoach and cross-train supervisors to strengthen leadership effectivenessManage leaves, schedules, and benefits in a high-volume environmentHandle sensitive employee and manager conversations with professionalism and confidenceEnsure compliance with employment laws and HR best practicesMaintain accurate HR documentation and recordsQualificationsRequired:
5+ years of HR experience, with strong partnership to operations leadershipProven ability to influence and coach supervisors and managersExperience in employee relations within a high-volume or multi-shift environmentStrong knowledge of employment law and practical applicationAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingExcellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skillsJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
