Human Resources Manager
Location: Racine County, WI Position Type: Full-Time, Individual Contributor Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Manager to support and enhance our HR operations. This individual contributor role is ideal for a well-rounded HR professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, excels in building relationships across all levels of an organization, and brings strong expertise in HR best practices, compliance, and employee support. Key Responsibilities + Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leaders across the organization. + Administer and support HR programs including compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. + Lead and support recruitment and onboarding initiatives to attract and retain talent. + Develop, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content. + Prepare clear, accurate reports, business correspondence, and policy documentation. + Participate in organizational planning activities and provide guidance on workforce needs. + Conduct or coordinate employee training programs as needed. + Support internal investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution processes. + Deliver presentations and effectively communicate HR-related information to employees, supervisors, and leadership. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration is preferred. + Five years of HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Strong knowledge of employment regulations, compensation structures, benefits administration, training methods, and organizational planning principles. + Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create professional reports, correspondence, and personnel policies. + Strong presentation skills and the ability to answer questions and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. + High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information. + Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment You will be the sole HR person in a small company with a family feel. The environment is fast-paced and may require you to handle various responsibilities independently. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Racine, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
