Job Description
This role is focused on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, overseeing employee timekeeping, and managing 160+ site for all human resource functions. On-time and proactive actions and communication are critical to being successful in this position. This role will work with the parent company's HR Director and local production team to enhance the overall employee experience and culture.
Responsibilities
Communicate and coordinate with all teams to ensure all hiring needs are met, maintain online job boards and postings, attend career fairs, and communicate with candidates.Screen candidates, schedule interviews, participate in interviews with department heads, and provide verbal and written job offers.Provide standard orientation to all new hires, perform drug screenings on site, and conduct introductions and site tours.Collaborate with outside temp agencies and recruiters.Participate in daily GEMBA walks with the management team.Maintain records in payroll and benefits platforms.Manage benefits administration.Report weekly and monthly key performance indicators.Coordinate investigations and documentation.Conduct disciplinary actions.Engage in weekly and monthly meetings with management and leadership teams.Organize and present monthly town halls to update all associates at the site about important information or updates.Identify opportunities to improve policies and procedures, and follow through with implementations.Maintain and uphold company policies and culture.Oversee employee timekeeping.Support and engage in strategic planning with the management team.Manage employee performance evaluations and coordinate yearly employee engagement surveys.Research and process unemployment claims.Manage all leave requests, including FMLA.Assist in all terminations.Ensure proper compliance.Plan and coordinate site events.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in Human Resources.Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or equivalent experience.HR Experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruiting, including career fairs and full-cycle recruiting.Experience in culture change initiatives.Benefits management expertise.Experience leading meetings and town halls.Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems, such as Rippling Payroll and Employee Navigator.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently.Work Environment
This role is an office-based position with expected travel of less than 10%. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerset, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.27 - $53.00/hr.
