Human Resources Manager

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Position Summary – This position is responsible for managing every aspect of the human element for the business. This is accomplished through policy development/maintenance/enactment, onboard/offboard administration of employees including performance improvement, payroll administration, benefit communication and administration, employee retention and coordination of employee events.\n\nMajor Duties and Responsibilities\n▪ Create, post and monitor job descriptions and subsequent management of applicants\n▪ Screening and testing candidates for relevant skills\n▪ Interact with and engage recruiting organizations when appropriate\n▪ Hire and terminate employees and implement employment status changes\n▪ Prepare employment records and maintain employee files with appropriate documentation\n▪ Maintain compliance with applicable government regulations related to employment practices, payroll & benefits\n▪ Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relation issues\n▪ Deliver and document disciplinary actions and/or corrective action plans to employees as necessary\n▪ Administer bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, including payroll taxes and 401K\n▪ Generate and file W2s annually\n▪ Administer workers compensation, STD, LTD and unemployment claims\n▪Plan and coordinate company events\n▪ Maintain personnel policies and procedures\n▪ Administer company benefits including enrollment and benefit termination\n▪ Review and reconcile monthly benefits invoices\n▪ Assist employees with navigating healthcare and ancillary benefits\n▪ Maintain the affirmative action program

Qualifications\n▪ Strong working knowledge of a wide variety of HR functions\n▪ Current knowledge of labor laws and regulations\n▪ Efficiently organize and schedule work to meet workflow demands in timely manner\n▪ Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations\n▪ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs\n▪ Knowledge of Infor ERP SyteLine a plus\n▪ Exceptional organizational and time-management skills\n▪ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing\n▪ Aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making\n▪ Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information without breach\n▪ Demonstrated strength of character, ethics, commitment, and reliability\n▪ Must be motivated, enthusiastic and a team-player with the ability to think rapidly\n▪ Ability to work regularly scheduled hours and to work as needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
