HDR is looking for a dynamic human resources professional ready to take your career to the next level. In the role of Human Resources Manager, we'll count on you to:
Ensure the fair and consistent application of HDR policies and procedures, addressing policy and procedure questions, including those of moderate complexityIn consultation with the Area HR Manager, handle general employee relations and performance management questions or issues for employeesParticipate in the investigation and resolution of employee concerns and complaints in coordination with the Area HR Manager and/or Regional HR DirectorOversee/drive annual performance conversation review processPrepare, oversee and manage Affirmative Action Plans for appropriate locations and identify and engage in outreach initiativesUnderstand basic HDR benefit plan provisions, assist with employees' benefit-related questions of moderate complexity, and refers complex questions to corporate HRIn coordination with the Area HR Manager, develop and/or present a variety of training programs as neededCoordinate requested compensation market studies with managers, Area HR Manager, and corporate HROversee the completion of employee paperwork to corporate HRAssist staff with leaves of absence and accommodation requestsReview and analyze employee HRIS system queries periodically for accuracy of informationOther duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeA/E or construction industry experiencePHR, SHPR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certificationKnowledge of HRIS systems and ability to work within a variety of different systemsAbility to travel up to 30% of the time in a split between day trips and overnight trips#LI-KV1

Required QualificationsA minimum of 5 years' Human Resources experienceDiscretion and the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive informationStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environmentHigh proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication and strong client service abilityStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationshipsExperience leading and attending performance conversationsAbility to facilitate employee trainingSelf-motivated, well-organized and detail-orientedAbility to travel 15% of the timeAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
