Human Resources Manager
**Job Description** The Human Resources Manager will serve as the primary on-site HR leader for a newly acquired business within the Aramark family, based in Bell Gardens, CA (Southeastern Los Angeles County). This role is responsible for learning and modeling the Aramark culture while supporting the acquired company in integrating into Aramark?s systems and practices, ensuring operational alignment while maintaining their unique brand identity. This position is **five days per week on-site** and will include travel at least twice a month to each satellite location in **Fontana, Lancaster, Northridge, and San Diego** to ensure consistent HR presence for all employees across the region. The HR Manager will partner closely with local leadership, Regional HR, and Corporate HR to drive employee engagement, support compliance, and foster a culture of service and inclusion. **Compensation Data** The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. ? Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with applicable law, including, but not limited to, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, the California Fair Chance Act, and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance to the extent that those laws apply to the opportunity. **Job Responsibilities** + Act as the primary HR business partner to site leadership, providing guidance on HR policies, compliance, employee relations, and talent strategy. + Resolve general employee relations issues by providing direction and recommendations to leadership, ensuring fair, consistent, and culturally aligned practices. + Lead and/or support investigations into employee complaints and concerns, preparing documentation and recommending appropriate resolutions. + Partner with managers to coach and develop leadership capability in employee engagement, performance management, and retention. + Coordinate leave of absence cases, ensuring compliance with policy and applicable federal/state/local employment laws. + Lead HR integration efforts between Aramark and the acquired company, including onboarding to Aramark systems, policy transitions, and change management support. + Support talent acquisition activities in partnership with the Recruiting team, ensuring timely staffing and onboarding. + Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives. + Review HR dashboards and metrics to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions. + Assist with HR projects and initiatives as the need arises, including cultural integration, compliance audits, and employee engagement programs. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice. **Qualifications** + 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and generalist responsibilities (previous managerial-level HR experience preferred). + Bachelor?s degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required. + Strong knowledge of California employment law and compliance requirements. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact, diplomacy, and cultural sensitivity. + Ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization. + Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS and case management systems preferred. + Valid Driver?s License required. + Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred. + PHR, PHRca, or equivalent is a plus. **Education** **About Aramark** **Our Mission** Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
