Located in Johnson City, Tennessee, East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Dining Services provides comprehensive food service operations that support a vibrant and growing campus community of more than 14,000 students, faculty, and staff.

 

Our program includes:

A state-of-the-art residential dining hall serving thousands of meals daily.

Multiple retail dining venues, featuring national brands such as Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Dunkin' Donuts, and many more.

A robust catering department supporting university events, athletics, and community engagements.

Concession operations at athletic and special event venues.

What You'll Do recruit and onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systemspossess knowledge of state and federal HR lawsmaintain active and terminated employee filescoordinate and conduct required monthly trainingpossess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responsespossess strong time management and organizational skillswork well independently and as part of a teamunderstand and respect sensitive and confidential informationhave excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as neededcomplete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands What We Offer

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of HR experience
