JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Intern will support a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, employee engagement, and learning and development. This role will assist in building internal HR site content, contribute to global onboarding initiatives, and help maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS. The intern will participate in planning employee events, support internal communications, and help administer surveys and analyze results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

POC for building of HR internal site content

Support HR 101 onboarding (global) project

Build understanding of recruiting skill and requirements to add to HR skills data base.

Help maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS

Support the preparation of HR documents

Participate in planning employee events and culture initiatives

Assist with internal communications

Conduct employee surveys and help analyze results

Help coordinate training sessions, calendars, and participation records

Assist in developing learning materials and resources

Participate in HR process improvements

Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends

QUALIFICATIONS

Major(s) Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior

GPA: 3.0+

Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg Florida from May 18, 2026 – Aug 7, 2026

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Workday is a plus

Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment

Effective Communication

Self-starter – Ability to drive work

Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience
