Human Resources (HR) Manager
Description Responsible for overseeing all Human Resources functions. This role is “the link between the people (staff) and the organization”. Duties include staffing/recruitment, benefits and salary administration, performance management, payroll, employee relations, compensation analysis, policies & procedures, training, and organizational development including succession planning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Coordinates, negotiates, administers, and monitors all corporate benefit programs including, but not limited to, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance and Disability Plans, and Retirement Savings Accounts. • Ensures full compliance with all State and Federal reporting requirements. • Maintains productive and effective working relationships with outside professional vendors including benefits and legal advisors. • Analyzes, develops, and implements an effective performance management program. • Advises Managers on matters pertaining to performance reviews, employee relations, performance counseling and communications to enhance the organizational culture • Administers divisions bi-weekly payroll process • Oversees and institutes training and development needs (Internal and External Training) to maintain and upgrade performance for maximizing the potential of employee’s company wide. • Plans and forecasts recruitment needs to ensure acceptable staffing levels are maintained. Full oversight of the recruitment, screening, selection and hiring of all levels of staff. • Processes and monitors Workers Compensation Claims. • Administers and monitors salary administration including market-driven competitive wages, bonuses/incentives as well as other feasible short-term and long-term compensation plans. • Ensures positive employee relations through fair and consistent administration of Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices (Service Awards, Christmas Party, Summer Outing, etc.) • Develops and communicates company-wide policies and procedures based on Federal and State compliance. • Ensures all HR related matter including, but not limited to, hiring determinations, terminations, disciplinary action, promotion, and compensation decisions complies with State and Federal legal parameters. • Responsible for the full investigation of all claims of any form of harassment, workplace violence or policy infraction making appropriate and legally compliant recommendations for suitable response and action. • Assists in managing Human Resources budget and expenditures and makes recommendations for annual budgeting process. • Attends weekly Management Meetings and reports on departmental progress • Promote and encourage understanding and use of the ISO 9001 based Quality Management System Requirements Employee Relations, Human Resources (HR) Administration, Benefit Functions, HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems, Onboarding, HR Policy, Policy, Policy administration, Policy development, Policy implementation, Change Management, Organizational Change Management, College recruiting, Campus Recruiting, Corporate Recruiting, ADP - Payroll, Benefits Payroll KEYS: (included soft skills) • Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of HR leadership (or equivalent combination of education, experience and any potential certifications)- Industry experience or as close to is nice to have • Full cycle HR skills. Including payroll for 75-80 biweekly (MUST HAVE ADP) - they do not reconcile to GL • Able to handle growth! They will be adding a second site inside of 1-2 tears locally which will add 50-70 employees. This person will recruit and hire all then hire and train a generalist.
