Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance and efficiency across onboarding, reporting, and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the business services industry.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate onboarding processes, including conducting background checks, verifying I-9 documentation, and managing compliance records.
• Optimize administrative workflows to enhance support for sales and operational functions.
• Maintain accurate HR reports and audits, ensuring benefits and personnel data align with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor labor law compliance by updating workplace postings and coordinating their distribution across relevant locations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address consultant and client inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Safeguard sensitive information by adhering to confidentiality protocols and compliance requirements in high-pressure situations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources administration or a related role.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and familiarity with onboarding processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, background checks, and compliance management.
• Knowledge of payroll systems, particularly ADP, and benefits administration.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
