Spectrum is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support, balancing employee needs with organizational goals and driving effective leadership. Your expertise will directly enhance workplace fairness and support key talent decisions that shape Spectrum’s continued success. How You’ll Make an Impact
Administer Spectrum policies consistently and communicate policy or procedure changes across assigned areasAdvise and counsel employees on workplace conflicts, performance matters and dispute resolution while managing employee relations and investigationsOversee leave of absence programs (FMLA & ADA) coordinate accommodations and support safety and workers’ compensation processesLead benefits enrollment meetings and deliver employee and supervisor training on policies, benefits and prevention topicsMaintain accurate HRIS and payroll entries for your client group while conducting audits and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirementsSupport bonus plans, merit processes, and reporting as well as participate in annual budget planning and HR committee initiativesWorking Conditions
This position observes a hybrid work schedule: 4 days in office/1 day remoteOffice/call center environment with some travel maybe neededWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalentExperience
2+ years of Human Resources Generalist experienceSkills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to connect at all levelsProfessionalism in handling confidential information and public interactionsAbility to make decisions, solve problems and work well under pressureProficient in Microsoft Office and general PC skillsAbility to prioritize, organize and demonstrate initiativeFamiliarity with federal, state and local employment laws and wage and hour regulationsUnderstanding of staffing, employment practices and employee relations proceduresConsultative, coaching and analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications
Education
