Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Job Description

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, policies, and HR programs. You will administer employee benefits programs, support workplace health and safety initiatives, manage staffing and onboarding activities, and support recruitment efforts. Additionally, you will maintain accurate HR records, partner with leadership on HR projects, and analyze HR metrics and trends to provide recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, policies, and HR programs.Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, leave administration, and support during annual open enrollment.Support workplace health and safety initiatives, workers' compensation reporting, return-to-work coordination, and safety compliance.Manage staffing and onboarding activities, including new hire processing, orientations, temporary staffing coordination, and recruiting support.Support recruitment efforts for exempt, non-exempt, and temporary roles, including job postings, screening, interviews, offers, and vendor management.Maintain accurate HR records, employee relations documentation, HRIS workflows, and compliance reporting.Partner with leadership on HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, performance and compensation cycles, and continuous improvement efforts.Analyze HR metrics and trends, such as turnover, attrition, and staffing effectiveness, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience.Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and HRIS/payroll systems.Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or similar operations.Proficiency in ICIMs, Harmony, Dovetail Ticketing, and Dayforce.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High level of professionalism, discretion, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing office environment. The manufacturing floor is very clean and quiet. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 5pm. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warsaw, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
