The Human Resources Generalist will support a broad range of HR functions, including recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compliance. This role partners closely with leadership and employees to support day‑to‑day HR operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring, with an emphasis on delivering a consistent and professional candidate experiencePartner with hiring leaders to support workforce planning and timely hiring decisionsCoordinate and execute new hire onboarding to ensure a smooth and effective transition into the organizationServe as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practicesManage employee relations matters such as performance concerns, investigations, corrective action, and separations, ensuring consistency and complianceAssist with employee engagement and retention initiativesSupport performance management processes, including reviews and ongoing feedbackPartner with leadership to promote a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace cultureAssist with the administration of compensation and employee benefits programsSupport benefits administration, including health plans and retirement programsCoordinate payroll processing and benefits reconciliation in collaboration with internal partnersEnsure HR practices align with applicable federal, state, and local employment lawsMaintain accurate and confidential employee records within HR systemsSupport compliance tracking related to training, safety, and regulatory requirementsTrack and report basic HR metrics to support operational and workforce planning decisionsStay current on HR best practices and recommend process improvements as appropriateRequired QualificationsFive or more years of progressive experience in human resourcesSolid working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirementsExperience handling employee relations issues, including investigations and corrective actionProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation abilitiesAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalismAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with othersAdaptability and comfort working with a diverse employee populationPreferred QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related fieldExperience working with HRIS platformsWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment and involves regular collaboration with leadership and team members. Standard business hours apply, with occasional flexibility to support recruiting or time‑sensitive HR matters.
