The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in the administration of annual performance appraisals, development of job descriptions for new positions, and recommending placement in the compensation plan. The role involves originating and tracking headcount and requisitions, conducting research on various initiatives such as compensation planning, policy updates, and technology improvements. The individual will also be responsible for advising employees regarding benefit enrollment, counseling on job-related issues, and maintaining applicant tracking and affirmative action plans.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister annual performance appraisals.Develop job descriptions for new positions and recommend placement in compensation plan.Originate and track headcount and requisitions.Research various initiatives including compensation planning, policy updates, and technology improvements.Collect data and resources, present findings, and make recommendations.Advise employees regarding benefit enrollment and provide information.Counsel employees regarding job-related problems, company policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions.Maintain applicant tracking and affirmative action plans, and prepare necessary documentation.Conduct full cycle recruitment for exempt, non-exempt, and temporary positions.Oversee pre-employment testing, drug and background checks, and reference checks.Conduct new employee orientations including payroll paperwork and benefits orientation.Manage the exit interview process.Maintain company organization charts, HR reports, and complete required monthly corporate reporting.Facilitate the year-end bonus program.Administer the scholarship program.Essential SkillsHuman resources expertise.Experience in onboarding and employee relations.HR administration and support skills.Recruiting proficiency.Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook and Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or HR field highly preferred.At least 2 years of experience in an HR-related field.Work EnvironmentThe successful candidate will work onsite at a manufacturing plant, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
