The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a variety of HR tasks, including entering employee data, assisting in benefit enrollment, processing payroll, and preparing HRIS reports. This role also involves developing internal guides, auditing system data, and providing onboarding support.
ResponsibilitiesEnter employee data, including new hire processing, pay structure maintenance, separations, and addressing employee questions and concerns.Assist in benefit enrollment and documentation, execute open enrollment, and submit ACA information.Process weekly payroll, ensuring completeness and accuracy; manage tax garnishments and payroll discrepancies; maintain payroll records.Develop and prepare HRIS reports, including HR KPI, compensation, new hire, and termination reports.Maintain and update internal instruction guides on administrative procedures.Interpret and counsel associates regarding policies and assist in auditing HRIS system data.Serve as a contact and liaison to HR-related resources, ensuring compliance with regulatory entities.Provide onboarding support for new hires and prepare HR-related documents using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Assist in HR projects, manage Leave of Absence documents, and provide assistance with unemployment claims.Administer and document employment-related issues, including risk assessment, stay and exit interviews, and disability documentation.Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and company policies.Essential SkillsExperience with ADP and benefits administration.Knowledge of compliance and leave management.Proficiency in payroll and data entry.Understanding of human resources practices and policies.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in business or related field.1-3 years’ experience in an office environment, including payroll or bookkeeping duties.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including spreadsheets.Familiarity with HRIS systems for tracking candidates and employment transactions.Knowledge of employment laws related to sourcing and employment.Understanding of payroll policies and reporting requirements.Familiarity with benefit plans and systems.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is fully in-office, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.27 - $31.25/hr.
