Human Resources Generalist

AGS is seeking a HR Generalist to manage personnel at one of our Detention Center to ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives in providing support across a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, compliance, benefits, and HR systems. This role partners with managers and employees to foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR practices align with company policies and legal requirements. **Responsibilities**
+ Assists Human Resources Manager with employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
+ Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews, participating in selection, and onboarding new hires.
+ Administer and provide guidance on company benefits, leave programs, and HR policies
+ Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
+ Partner with managers to support performance management, development, and engagement initiatives.
+ Assist with HRIS data entry, reporting, and process improvement.
+ Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 2-4 years of HR generalist experience.
+ Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.
+ Must be US Citizen.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
+ This position requires that you live within commuting distance from the customer site in El Paso, Texas.
+ Must have a valid driver's license.
