Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Job Description

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will implement and administer company policies consistently and fairly across the workforce. You will oversee time and attendance systems for accurate payroll processing, monitor absenteeism, and address employee situations that may require considerations for FMLA, disability, or other leaves of absence.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate employee records in both electronic filing and HRIS systems, including personnel, benefit, and tax files.Collaborate with the Office Manager to coordinate company and employee event planning, as well as HR training setup.Assist in developing and implementing employee wellness programs.Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture.Assist employees with benefit inquiries and liaise with third-party providers as needed.Lead the new employee onboarding process, coordinating requests for company systems access, computer setup, and business supplies.Conduct new employee orientation and ensure timely benefits enrollment.Essential Skills5+ years experience in human resources, with 8/10 proficiency in onboarding and offboarding.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, EHS or a related field preferred.1-4 years of HR & EHS experience required, preferably in the medical device industry or regulated industry.3 years of experience with employee benefits, employee relations, recruiting, safety, and/or training required, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong facilitation and interpersonal abilities.Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as HR best practices.Ability to communicate complex information across all levels of the organization.High proficiency in computer skills including MS Office and exposure to HRIS systems.Detail-oriented, producing high-quality work in a high-volume environment.Ability to handle confidential information professionally.Flexibility and openness to change within a fluid global industry.Work Environment

This role is situated in a manufacturing medical device environment with approximately 140 employees. The company offers a great culture, benefits, and a startup environment, having started in 2020, yet provides stability from over 100 years of experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
