Human Resources Generalist

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our HR team at our food manufacturing facility in Milton, PA, home to the production of Chef Boyardee and other well-known brands.

As the HR Generalist reporting to the HR Manager at our manufacturing facility, you will support all Human Resources responsibilities. These include onboarding, employee relations, training, payroll, benefits administration, leaves of absence, labor relations, partnering with talent acquisition on recruitment and staffing, and assisting with strategic HR planning programs.

What you'll do in this role:

Be an HR partner by providing daily support and guidance across core HR functions at the plant, including leave administration (FMLA, ADA), EEO compliance, unemployment, employee retention, terminations, labor relations, and severance processes.

Support smooth HR operations by assisting with payroll and benefits coordination, promoting positive labor and employee relations, leading fair investigations, and implementing employee relations programs that align with legal and company standards.

Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to plant leadership, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by building professional relationships with employees and leaders, supporting engagement initiatives, and encouraging open communication.

Provide coaching support to supervisors and managers, helping them grow their teams and enhance performance.

Collaborate with HR colleagues, centers of excellence, and cross-functional teams—including talent acquisition, compensation, and finance—to deliver integrated HR solutions that support business goals.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree

3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources preferably in a manufacturing environment

Experience with ERISA, EEOC and DOL regulations, employment sourcing, communications, human relations, and management skills

Experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, labor relations, and organizational development

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
