About the Job:
* Support talent acquisition through applicant screenings, interview scheduling, and coordinating orientation and welcome activities.
* Manage HRIS records, support performance management system administration, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
* Serve as the first point of contact for HR, fielding questions about benefits, policies, and procedures.
* Coordinate benefits and support payroll in relation to benefits.
* Collaborate and contribute to the department's goals through additional tasks as requested.
About You:
* 3+ years of progressive human resource experience including benefits, payroll, and employee relations experience is required; bachelor's degree is required.
* Experience using BambooHR is required.
* MS Office and HRIS proficiencies are required.
* Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining strong confidentiality.
About the Position:
* Pays $28/hr-$32/hr, while temporary.
* $65k-$70k, when permanent, DOE.
* Starting ASAP!
* 3 days/week on-site in Washington, DC.
