Human Resources & Executive Support Specialist - ONSITE

We have a position on our team in Hoosick Falls that might just be what you are looking for!** The **HR & Executive Support Specialist** is responsible for supporting the HR function and is a trusted member of the HR Department. The Specialist must uphold confidentiality at all times and is responsible for fostering positive employee relations. The Specialist will assist with sourcing and on-boarding of new employees, maintain accuracy of HR files and various systems, and participate and support employee functions and programs. The Executive support responsibilities include providing high-level administrative, organizational and logistical support to the GM. Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information is essential. **This position requires ONSITE work in HOOSICK FALLS, NEW YORK** HR Responsibilities (50%) • Support on-boarding process • Maintain files compliant with internal and external audits • Take the lead with planning events and coordination, which includes food and event details • Participate in site initiatives such as WCM (World Class Manufacturing) • Set up and/or execute candidate phone screens; coordinate/schedule on-site interviews • Assist with post offer process • Train and stay current with weekly payroll process and associated reports • Time card support process inclusive of edits, audits, corrections • Offer support and guidance to employees in absence of HR Coordinator/HR Manager • Assist employees with navigating electronic systems Executive Support Responsibilities (30%) • Assist GM with travel coordination: booking flights, accommodations, transportation, managing travel itineraries • Event planning: organizing and coordinating events, meetings and conferences • Problem solving: addressing and resolving issues that arise in the GM’s daily work • Assist GM with expense reporting Administrative Support (20%) • Assist HF Managers with coordinating company luncheons and functions • Record Keeping: organizing files, managing databases, and maintaining accurate records • Office Management: assist with general office tasks, such as ordering supplies • Report Preparation: Assisting in the creation of reports and presentations • Assist with general communications, announcements and postings Key Competencies: + Exceptional Organizational & Time Management Skills + Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills + Discretion & Confidentiality + Adaptability & Flexibility + Tech Savvy Educational Requirements: + HS Diploma Required + College Degree Preferred Qualifications & Experience: + Must have 1-3 years of Administrative Assistant or HR Assistant experience (Will consider waiving experience for Bachelor's in HR) + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required + Excellent verbal and written communication is crucial for interacting with others + Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines is required + Strong attention to detail is required _Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings.
