The HR Manager will lead the end‑to‑end Human Resources function across two Minnesota manufacturing locations (Rochester, MN), managing a team of 10+ HR professionals while partnering with site and corporate leadership to execute HR strategies that support business objectives, ensure compliance, drive talent development, and deliver a strong employee experience within complex manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute local HR strategies aligned with corporate HR goals and business initiativesLead and develop a Human Resources team of 10+ employees across two locationsPartner with Corporate Talent Acquisition to deliver effective local recruitment programsSupport leaders with organizational change, communication strategies, employee relations, and conflict resolutionDevelop and deploy leadership and employee training programsOversee the full employee lifecycle, from hiring through separationServe as EEO Specialist and lead divisional Affirmative Action planningAdminister benefits coordination and conduct local compensation and benefits surveysTrack, analyze, and present HR metrics to site leadershipManage unemployment claims, employee relations investigations, and legal matters in partnership with counselIdentify, recommend, and implement HR policies, programs, and process improvementsSkills

Additional Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of progressive Human Resources and training experience5+ years of HR leadership experience supporting large or multi‑site operations (600+ employees)Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and performance managementStrong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, employment law, and compliance (EEO/AA)Experience partnering with business leaders on organizational change, conflict management, and workforce planningBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent approved experience)Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $67.00/hr.
