Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports a range of HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, compliance, and employee support. This role helps ensure accurate payroll and employee data, supports onboarding and HR projects, and serves as a key point of contact for HR and office-related questions. It is a strong fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time in coordination with payroll, benefits, and broker partnersReview time records, pay adjustments, and deductions for accuracyAdminister employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminationsRespond to employee questions about payroll and benefits in a professional and timely mannerCoordinate benefit audits and support open enrollment activitiesMaintain accurate payroll and benefits data in the HRISReconcile payroll transactions to journal entries and the general ledgerVerify payroll-related accounting records and resolve discrepanciesPartner with Finance to align payroll reporting and financial recordsMaintain employee records and support HRIS updates and data accuracyAnalyze HR data for trends, compliance needs, and process improvement opportunitiesPrepare reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-makingHelp ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and internal policiesMaintain documentation for audits, reporting, and legal complianceMonitor employment law updates and support policy changes as neededSupport HR projects, including process improvements and policy updatesTrack project timelines and deliverablesCoordinate employee communications and onboarding logisticsServe as a point of contact for general HR and office-related inquiriesPrepare and maintain employment records related to hiring, transfers, and promotionsProvide backup support for other HR functions during planned and unplanned absencesQualifications
Required
1 to 4 years of related administrative or human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceExperience with human resources support, benefits administration, or payroll-related workStrong Microsoft Office skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to maintain confidential informationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build working relationships and collaborate effectivelyAbility to manage multiple tasks and work in a high-volume office environmentStrong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skillsPreferred
Bachelor’s degreeExperience with PaylocityExperience with payroll reconciliation, journal entries, or monthly payroll processesExperience supporting onboardingExperience working in a lab, scientific, or manufacturing environmentExperience with HRIS data maintenance, reporting, or analyticsWork Environment or Schedule
100 percent on-site roleTypical working hours are approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Team members generally arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.Includes an unpaid 30-minute lunch breakOffice environment with frequent interruptions and a high-volume workloadAdditional Information

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.50/hr.
