Human Resources Coordinator
Job Title: Human Resources CoordinatorJob Description The HR Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that HR processes and procedures comply with employment laws and regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission, FTCA, and HRSA. Responsibilities + Participate in and conduct HR internal audits and tracers for The Joint Commission, FTCA, and HRSA. + Follow up on action items for performance improvement plans. + Participate in all internal HR audits and other compliance-related audits. + Ensure all personnel records are maintained according to employment laws and regulatory agencies. + Serve as a backup for processing voluntary terminations. + Ensure mandatory trainings are updated and completed for new hires and existing employees. + Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to HR processes and procedures for compliance. Essential Skills + Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources. + Knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and laws. + Ability to interpret and review significant amounts of data. + Research and communicate regulatory guidelines. + Handle multiple responsibilities with excellent organizational skills. + Experience utilizing an HRIS and proficiency in MS Office Suite. + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. + Commitment to HIPAA and professional ethics. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School diploma or equivalent required. + Strong team player with the ability to work independently. + Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment This position is onsite from 8am to 5pm, with a team of 17 people in the HR department. The work environment emphasizes adherence to infection control procedures, including temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom self-monitoring, masking, and social distancing.
