DescriptionThis position is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in all administrative and other assigned areas.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe job of Human Resources Coordinator is executed satisfactorily when:1) Application Handling:\n\nEmployment requests are acknowledged within 48 hours.\nEvery applicant receives a personalized response to their application.\nApplicant correspondence is handled in a timely and professional manner and interviews are set up on behalf of management. \nCVs are distributed to Heads of Department and followed-up on.\nEvery applicant receives a final response to their employment request.\n2) Kempinski recruitment web-site:\n\nAll vacancies are posted.\nThe hotel page of the recruitment web-site is up-to-date and well maintained.\n3) On-boarding:\n\nAll new joiners are personally welcomed and necessary paperwork completed in an organized and efficient manner.\nNew joiner starting dates are communicated and coordinated with the respective HODs and the Training department.\n4) Administration:\n\nEvery employee has a complete employee file.\nEmployee and payroll data is maintained in systems.\nVacation and sick leave are tracked.\nPerformance management documents are tracked.\nEmployees anniversaries are tracked and anniversary gifts and cards are personally handed over by the Head or Department, Hotel and/or General Manager.\n5) Maintenance:\n\nThe employee communication boards are up-to-date and attractive.\nThe employee locker rooms and cafeteria are looked after.\nEmployees are welcomed to the Human Resources office in a warm and friendly manner.\n6) Exit:\n\nEvery leaver receives an exit interview.\nEvery leaver respecting a notice period receives an employment certificate on their last working day.\n Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

Desired qualifications:\nHuman Resources Certificate or equivalent in any related field such as Tourism Management\nFive (5) years relevant experience in a similar human resource role in a renown international hotel brand\nEnglish – excellent oral and written skills\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with thorough cultural intelligence\nStrong administrative and filing skills\n
