Human Resources Business Partner Belgium

We are seeking a Senior HR professional with a strong balance of soft and hard HR competencies. This role requires maturity in stakeholder management, especially within a plant environment, and the confidence to challenge and influence when necessary. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, including payroll, employee relations, legal compliance, and strategic HR support. The position is based on-site next to the plant, with flexibility for remote work after onboarding.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

Soft HR

Employee onboarding/offboarding (including interim staff and exit interviews)

Sickness and attendance follow-up

Performance management and coaching

Conflict resolution and accident reporting

Internal communication and newsletters

Coordination of meetings and company events
 

Hard HR

Payroll processing and ARCO billing

MyEcolab case management

Contract amendments and work permit processing

HR metrics and reporting

Legal compliance with Belgian social legislation
 

Experience

5+ years in HR, ideally in a plant or industrial setting

Including 3+ years in a multinational company

Experience in stakeholder management and decision-making support
 

Languages

Dutch: Native

French: Professional proficiency

English: Professional proficiency
 

Education & Tools

Relevant HR or business degree

Familiarity with payroll systems and HR reporting tools
