Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support our organization by serving as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries and providing comprehensive HR support. This role involves working closely with employees and managers, offering policy guidance, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions and support.
+ Provide day-to-day HR support across employee relations, benefits, and general HR inquiries.
+ Support employees and managers with Workday-related questions and collaborate with remote HR leadership on escalations, policy guidance, and site-specific needs.
+ Assist with recruiting coordination, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and standard HR practices.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5-10 years of HR experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent professional experience.
+ Hands-on HR experience in an on-site environment.
+ Working knowledge of Workday.
+ Experience supporting employee relations and benefits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience supporting a manufacturing or plant-based workforce.
+ Payroll exposure (preferred, not required).
+ Ability to work independently as the sole on-site HR representative.
+ Proficiency in Excel and MS Office 365.
Work Environment
This position requires working on-site from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, five days a week.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Millington, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
