Human Resources Business Partner
System One is partnering with a client on a confidential direct-hire search seeking a polished, proactive HR Business Partner to support a highly regulated organization. This role serves as a strategic partner to Directors and VPs, advising on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. The HRBP will proactively identify people-related risks and opportunities, support change management initiatives, and ensure HR practices align with business goals.
This position requires the ability to operate with minimal direction, take initiative, and execute effectively—even when processes are evolving. The ideal candidate is flexible, agile, and comfortable balancing strategic guidance with hands-on execution. Experience supporting manufacturing, oil & gas, or government environments is highly preferred. SHRM certification is required.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Partner with leadership on employee relations, performance management, and talent development
+ Provide guidance on HR policies, compliance, and employment law in regulated environments
+ Support and lead change management initiatives
+ Coach leaders on employee engagement, conflict resolution, and organizational effectiveness
+ Execute HR initiatives with limited oversight while maintaining professionalism and discretion
