Job Description

Axis Communications is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). As an HRBP, you will work closely with business leaders to develop and execute an HR strategy aligned with organizational goals and the corporate HR framework. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution of HR activities, delivering value-added support to management and employees and ensuring HR initiatives reflect business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor - challenging, coaching, and influencing leaders on people and organizational issues, while serving as a steward of our culture and promoting our Core Values. This role is based out of our Chelmsford, MA office with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.

What you’ll do here:

Lead and execute HR initiatives from both a strategic and operational perspective, including:Workforce planningOrganizational change managementPerformance managementLeadership coachingSuccession planning and talent/leadership developmentEmployee engagement and retentionSupport learning and development initiatives by developing and/or delivering contentOversee employee relations matters, including coaching managers on handling workplace issues and leading or supporting workplace investigations in accordance with company policies and legal requirementsAdvise and train managers on employment law requirements and ensure adherence to policies and guidelinesOversee compensation matters, including the annual salary review and merit increase processManage and coordinate workplace accommodations (disability, medical, religious) by partnering with managers, employees, and external providers to ensure compliance with legal obligations and create a positive employee experienceSupport global mobility and immigration processes, including coordination of work authorizations, relocations, and assignments in partnership with internal and external resourcesGuide managers through employee lifecycle changes, including onboarding, transfers, relocations, and terminations in a manner consistent with company policy and legal requirementsManage and/or participate in regional or corporate HR-related projectsPromote and embed diversity, equity, and inclusion practicesAct as a role model and ambassador for the company culturePerform other projects and duties as needed

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)SHRM SCP or similar HR certification preferredExperience managing employee relations issues, including conducting workplace investigations and recommending appropriate actionsMinimum 5 years’ experience in at least three of the following areas:Employee relationsLearning and developmentCompensationPerformance managementEmployment law and complianceOrganizational development

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks and projects to support business objectivesA balance of confidence and empathy; skilled at influencing leaders constructivelyProven ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholdersHigh level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information, including investigations, terminations, and immigration casesComfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environmentExperience coordinating with legal counsel or vendors on immigration and mobilityStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Pay range:

The approximate pay range for this location and position is $100,000 - $115,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
