Human Resources Business Partner

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR programs and outcomes with business goals/objectives. You will help drive initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, employee engagement, workforce productivity, and change management. You will report to the Global HRBP for R&D and although most of your work will be dedicated to R&D, you may be asked to support other areas.     

Key Responsibilities: 

Organizational Effectiveness: 

Analyze market trends and R&D benchmarks in alignment with business goals to identify opportunities for improvement 

Support key initiatives aimed at driving organizational performance and improving organizational effectiveness – including support the upfront analysis to define the priorities/initiatives   

Workforce Management: 

Manage workforce plan for R&D  

Support key initiatives aimed at improving workforce mix, hiring strategies/effectiveness, and workforce productivity – including support the upfront analysis to define the priorities/initiatives

Reinforce and drive alignment between what’s happening within R&D and our Clearwater frameworks, policies and programs

Training and Development: 

Assess the effectiveness in existing training programs and working with our L&D team and the business identify additional areas of focus

Support leadership and top talent engagement activities for mid-level leaders in R&D  

Employee Engagement & Culture: 

Analyze metrics related to employee engagement and employee satisfaction survey results to identify/prioritize areas to improve and determine supporting initiatives

Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives working with the broader HR team and the business

Collaboration & Communication: 

Build strong relationships with employees and management to understand their needs and challenges

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, ensuring the findings are data-driven and the recommendations are actionable

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives

Assist with compiling data/reports and pulling together presentations  

Qualifications:  

4+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally from a similar HRBP role or from consulting (i.e., Organization or People practice areas) 

Experience working with technology companies and/or R&D organizations is preferred    

Experience working with high growth companies or companies going through transformative change is preferred   

Experience working on projects to drive specific outcomes – can either be in a lead or support role  

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis (including functions and pivot tables) and Microsoft PowerPoint 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data to determine insights and make recommendations  

 

Salary Range

$88,800.00 - $115,200.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
