Human Resources Business Partner
Description Human Resources Business Partner We are seeking a Human Resources professional to join a growing team in a pivotal role with our client in the Terre Haute. This position focuses on partnering with business units to deliver strategic HR solutions, address organizational challenges, and foster a positive and productive workplace culture. Primary Responsibilities: + Conduct regular meetings with business leaders to address HR concerns and develop aligned strategies. + Provide expert guidance to management on performance management, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and career development initiatives. + Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement actionable policies and programs. + Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending resolutions. + Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all HR processes, partnering with legal teams as necessary. + Collaborate with managers and employees to improve workplace relationships, morale, and team productivity. + Develop, interpret, and communicate HR policies to employees and leadership teams. + Negotiate and create contract terms for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers. + Support international employees with expatriate assignments and HR-related matters. + Identify training and development needs for business units and evaluate program effectiveness to achieve objectives. Requirements Qualifications and Requirements: + Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, specifically in employee relations and conflict resolution. + Strong knowledge of HR laws, best practices, and procedures, including experience with union payroll and handling grievances. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations cases and conduct thorough investigations. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving. + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. + Experience in workforce and succession planning, as well as evaluating training and development programs. + In-depth understanding of various HR disciplines, such as compensation, diversity initiatives, and performance management.
