Responsibilities:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, leave programs, and wellness initiatives

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing clear guidance and issue resolution

Coordinate annual open enrollment, including employee communications, system updates, and vendor coordination

Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and benefits platforms

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA)

Reconcile benefits billing, resolve discrepancies, and work with payroll to ensure accurate deductions

Partner with benefits brokers and vendors to manage plans, resolve issues, and evaluate program effectiveness

Prepare reports and metrics related to benefits participation, costs, and utilization

Support audits and assist with benefits-related documentation and recordkeeping

Contribute to continuous improvement of benefits processes, communications, and employee education

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS)

Experience supporting multi-state or large employee populations

Familiarity with benefits compliance reporting and audits

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret benefits data and trends

Experience working with benefits brokers and insurance carriers

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

6+ years of experience in HR benefits administration

Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable employment laws and regulations

Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration systems

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Strong communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
