Minimum Qualifications:
2-year degree or equivalent experience Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Excel, Word.Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to employees.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of hourly benefits.Understanding of the bid processUnderstanding of the extra list process Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in using HRIS and time and attendance systems.Willingness to participate as union representation for occasional evening or weekend family day type events.Howmet Aerospace Structures is seeking a detail-oriented and personable Human Resources Facilitator to support our union workforce, at the Niles, OH manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and committed to fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment. Primary Functions:
Serve as the primary point of contact for hourly employees regarding benefit questions and inquiries.Assist employees with understanding and navigating benefit programs, policies, and procedures.Collaborate with the HR team to ensure timely and accurate resolution of benefit-related issues.Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.Troubleshoot system-related issues and collaborate with the HR team or IT department to resolve them.Assist management with the extra list and bid processes, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with company policies.Coordinate with supervisors and relevant asset managers to facilitate smooth transitions and effective communication throughout the bid process.Maintain accurate records and documentation of extra list and bid activities.Provide guidance and support to supervisors in effectively utilizing the time and attendance system.Note: This job description reflects the core activities of the role but is not intended to be all-inclusive.
