Job Description
The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR Director with day-to-day HR operations across multiple locations. This role is ideal for a highly organized and adaptable professional who is eager to grow within human resources. The Human Resources Assistant plays a key role in full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, and ensuring smooth communication between leadership and employees.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the HR Director with daily human resources operations across multiple sites.Support full-cycle recruiting by drafting and posting job descriptions, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support headcount planning.Maintain and update employee records, HR documentation, and HR-related data entry.Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation, including preparing materials and coordinating logistics.Set up workstations and desks for new employees to ensure a smooth first-day experience.Coordinate interview scheduling, meetings, and internal communications related to HR activities.Help track and manage open positions, candidate pipelines, and hiring progress.Provide general administrative and clerical support to the HR department, including filing, document preparation, and correspondence.Support payroll-related activities as needed and ensure accuracy of HR and payroll information.Ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices in all HR processes.Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Collaborate with team members and offer support wherever needed to meet HR and organizational goals.Essential Skills1\u20132+ years of experience in human resources or an administrative support role.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Ability to multitask and support a fast-paced, multi-location environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.Human resources experience, including HR administration and HR support.Experience with data entry related to HR records and documentation.Knowledge of hiring processes, recruiting, and onboarding.Experience providing administrative support and clerical assistance in an office environment.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Comfortable working on-site four days per week.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in HR and payroll-related tasks.Effective communication skills for interacting with candidates, employees, and leadership.Additional Skills & QualificationsOnboarding experience, including coordinating new hire orientation and setting up desks for new employees.Experience supporting payroll processes or payroll-related tasks.Demonstrated ability to support hiring, recruiting, and the overall hiring process.Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is highly desirable.Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to take initiative.Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment across multiple locations.Strong clerical skills, including document organization and record keeping.Ability to begin employment after successfully completing required pre-employment screening.Human resources-related experience or education is preferred.Work Environment
This role is primarily on-site and supports a fast-paced, multi-location environment. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, with a flexible arrangement of four 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week. If a traditional five-day schedule of eight hours per day is preferred, this can be accommodated. The position involves regular use of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as HR systems such as HRIS or applicant tracking systems when available. The work environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with a focus on supporting employees and leadership through effective HR operations and administrative support.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
