ResponsibilitiesServe as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment.Plan and conduct new hire orientation.Support HR manager with gathering necessary documents and paperwork for refereeing disputes and administering disciplinary procedures.Conduct investigations, new hire onboarding, and assist with employee relations and pay issues.Essential Skills0-2 years of experience in human resources.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).Strong communication skills.Demonstrated good job tenure.Work EnvironmentThe position is based onsite at the Lafayette Distribution Center, with a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, though hours may fluctuate. The role primarily involves office work with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor. Metatarsal guard shoes are required for these visits and will be reimbursed up to $150.00. There is potential for the role to become permanent.
